EDITOR

Dawn originates from Annapolis, Maryland and has been living and working in New York City since graduating from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Film. While in school, she interned in the edit room of Maysles Films, where she absorbed many of their practices and ideas about documentary editing. After graduating, she worked in different aspects of production before finding her niche in editing. She has worked in both film and television, on such notable projects as Brick City, Boomtown, Semper Fi: Always Faithful, and Which Way Home. She has recently finished a course at The Edit Center in Manhattan where she cut scenes for both fiction and non-fiction films under the study of editors Alan Oxman and Chad Beck. Dawn is currently volunteering at Old School Films as a mentor for middle school children interested in filmmaking.
