Amanda is a young filmmaker who recently graduated from Amherst _bCollege where she studied filmmaking and spent time honing her skills as a writer, film analyst, videographer and editor. Growing up in the Bronx, Amanda was influenced by Disney Renaissance movies alongside Tim Burton's early work, which instilled in her the idea that girls can do anything. For her this included developing her own unique film perspective and burgeoning style. Amanda has an intense love for narrative film and is influenced by different styles from around the world, including Hollywood action films, Japanese minimalism and French New Wave. "Graduation" is Amanda's first project on the New York independent film scene. Her independent work can be seen on her YouTube Channel, RayRoseStudios.
